September 21, 2011--Today, I went to lunch with one of my "best-est" girlfriends. I sensed the words "New Dawn" were meant for her. Then, this song began to play in my head. This song is so encouraging! I love this song!

September 15, 2011--Another one of my favorites that my "bestest" girlfriend, from my Navy days, sent to me. The other day, my sister and I were talking about this song. It was used in a ship video that was made during a six-month deployment, when my boys' dad was on the USS Forrestal in Jacksonville, Florida. Whenever I hear this song, I think of the boys and me waiting on the pier for him, watching the ship approach from the horizon and sail all the way to the pier. Another good memory.

September 15, 2011--Wow! Another great song on the CDs my "bestest" girlfriend, from my Navy days, sent to me. My brother also made me a CD with this song on it. I remember spending time in Ohio, when my dad was still here, dancing and singing in my brother's living room to this song. This is another song that takes me back to a simpler time. I am thankful for the good memories I have.

September 14, 2011--My "best-est" girlfriend, from my days in the Navy, sent me four CDs of my favorite music. Some of it is R&B. So, here I am, listening and swaying to this song by the Isley Brothers. Wow! It takes me back to a simpler time. I love this song. Thanks, Judi!
