December 18, 2011--This week, when I was at the clinic I volunteer at, the staff and volunteers gathered in a circle to pray before the clinic began. Two of the women brought this song up on the computer. We closed our eyes and listened to this. After it was over, there were those of us with eyes full of tears. It was such a powerful time. And, what really got me was how the song was being sung @ 3:05 in the video and beyond. I've never heard anything like it. It still brings tears to my eyes.

December 7, 2011--Today, one of my precious Facebook friends posted that she was watching, "The Help." I love that movie. My favorite line, in this movie, is..."You is smart. You is kind. You is important." I remember those words bringing tears to my eyes because a lot of my life was spent falsely believing that I wasn't smart, I wasn't kind, and I wasn't important. Now, I know that is not true. I is smart. I is kind. I is important. :)

December 1, 2011--Lately, I've been thinking about my sons, Jason & Drew. I've been thinking about the special moments I have spent with them that, for a moment, made me feel that all is well in the world. It's just those moments...those snapshots in time...those safe times...I have experienced with Jason and/or Drew that just gave me that feeling that time is standing still, and all is well for the moment.
