December 18, 2011--This week, when I was at the clinic I volunteer at, the staff and volunteers gathered in a circle to pray before the clinic began. Two of the women brought this song up on the computer. We closed our eyes and listened to this. After it was over, there were those of us with eyes full of tears. It was such a powerful time. And, what really got me was how the song was being sung @ 3:05 in the video and beyond. I've never heard anything like it. It still brings tears to my eyes.

October 9, 2011--I just read that pianist, Roger Williams, passed away at the age of 87. I decided to listen to this song, and I was stunned when I heard it. My mom and dad played this song when I was a little girl. I miss my mom and dad. I had no idea how many memories were stored away in my mind and heart until after they passed away. October 1, 2011--My life was changed when my oldest son shared these words with me, while we were having lunch together at Humble Pie. I never forgot that moment. It was used in a ship video that was made during a six-month deployment, when my boys' dad was on the USS Forrestal in Jacksonville, Florida. Whenever I hear this song, I think of the boys and me waiting on the pier for him, watching the ship approach from the horizon and sail all the way to the pier. Another good memory.
