August 2, 2011--Today, I've been thinking about my dad. He transitioned from this life into eternal life exactly one year ago. I miss him. I left home and went into the Navy 36 years ago. Even though I did not get to be as close to my dad as I would have desired, he was there for me when I went through the toughest times of my life. My dad was a man of strength and wisdom. I love him, and I look forward to seeing him again some day.
